Brain Balance is expanding our 100-location child services franchise nationwide, and we are focusing on five top areas in particular:

Brain Balance territories are still available nationwide, but we believe these areas represent the next best opportunities to grow our unique business. In densely populated areas like these cities, four of which are among the 20 largest in the U.S. (with Boston coming in at No. 21), it’s more likely to find a larger demographic with the need for our services.
While we are often lumped in with other education franchises, Brain Balance is something different. We design individualized programs to help children improve critical life skills, including focus, behavior, sensory processing and social skills by addressing, rebuilding and restoring gaps in development.
How our franchise helps children
Our Brain Balance centers take a holistic, drug-free approach to craft personalized programs that help children overcome challenges in a variety of areas, including processing disorders, attention and focus issues (including ADHD), learning disorders, behavioral issues and more.
Franchisees hire coaches to work with children, utilizing sensory motor work, eye tracking, core exercises, academic engagement, healthy nutrition, confidence-building and many other activities to help address their individual challenges. For more than a decade, we’ve helped over 40,000 children and their families.
Who we’re looking for
It’s not uncommon for us to get franchise applications from chiropractors, occupational therapists and medical professionals interested in neurology. But we have many successful franchisees who are parents of kids who have gone through Brain Balance programs.
Candidates with successful corporate backgrounds, those who have operated businesses and managed P&Ls, and people with marketing experience are a great fit for our franchise.
“We’re looking for highly engaged owners who want to participate in creating best practices at their center,” says COO Justin Nihiser. “They are comfortable taking direction, reviewing and executing on training measures and protocols, and then ensuring that those are performed to Brain Balance standards on a daily basis.”
Qualified franchise candidates don’t need any specialized background, although it’s very helpful to have business experience. You must have a net worth of at least $400,000 and liquid assets of at least $100,000. Startup costs range from $256,876 to $478,876.
